Catalog & Facebook Parties

Catalog Parties

Catalog parties can be very beneficial for your hostesses who want to earn some free product but may not be able to host an in-home party due to time or distance.

Hosting a Catalog Party is really easy:
  • Make sure to keep in good communication with your hostess. Set a firm end date for your party.
  • Give your hostess a Catalog Party Packet that includes the following: 5-6 catalogs, 10-15 order forms, 10-15 envelopes for the order forms, 2-3 sample packs, a recruiting brochure, and any additional sales/incentive flyers you may have.
  • Let your hostess know what forms of payment you will be accepting and when her guests can expect their orders.
  • On the end date for the party, make plans to meet up with your hostess to close out the party, collect and process all payments, and have your hostess place her order.
  • Make sure you have full payment information and shipping information for all orders.

Facebook Parties

Does your hostess want a more interactive party, but has guest in many different locations? Maybe she's one of your friends who wants to host a party for you, but lives too far away. Facebook Parties can give your guests a great shopping experience from the comfort of their own home.

How to Host a Facebook Party:
  • Set up a Facebook event, making your hostess an admin so she can add guests as needed.
  • Pick a set start and end time for your party. List out how the party works (including accepted payments, delivery dates, etc.) in the description section of the party. Don't forget to post your Pure Romance website so they can preshop!
  • In the days leading up to the party, put posts on the party wall to get your guests excited about what's to come!
  • Don't forget to complete your party planning with your hostess, just like you would for a normal party.
  • Start your party on time! Post links to featured products, short demo videos, flash sales, or anything else you want!
  • As you come to the end of your party, make sure to remind your guests that all payment information must be submitted by the end of the party.
  • The next day, get with your hostess to close out the party, process all orders and have your hostess place her order
